Sorry if I appeared anti-social but when I walked in and heard the extremely loud techno dance stuff I realised that normal relaxed conversation was out of the question, so I just left. I'm an old style 70's rock type of guy (not quite 70 years old!) and techno dance "music" just does my head in.

Much as I want to come to this, I was in this very square on Wednesday and it's such a trek for me plus I have a Christmas lunch tomorrow and am already exhausted, so I doubt I'll make it. Please, Ken, can we do karaoke again?

Thanks Ken and Jeremy for clearing this up. Yes I think a whole evening of Xmas music would be too much of a good thing!

Can someone please tell me, what exactly is a "Christmas" karaoke? Does this mean that we are only allowed to sing Christmas songs such as Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Little Donkey, I Saw Mummy Kissing Santa Claus, All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth, and similar confections, or is it simply a bog standard karaoke which happens to be taking place during the festive season. However, just to complicate matters even more, I'm aware that there could also be a third possibility. Is it by any chance a bog standard karaoke interspersed from time to time with festive songs? Clarification on this vitally important point would be much appreciated.

Garish Christmassy jumpers and tinsel may be involved for true fun seekers?

      2 · December 9, 2013

    • Ken

Alan, As Jeremy has said, it will be a mixture of songs and all the Christmas songs will be available for anyone who wants to sing them.
