What we're about
Upcoming events (5+)
We're adding to our regular Tuesday night game program with a new, 5 hour long Saturday afternoon thing. So sleep in, play games all afternoon, then go have an evening. We'll have lots of snacks as always (yes, cheese dip, too) and lots of games to choose from. You can always bring your own games or food or whatever, too.
An extended remix of our weekly Table Top Tuesday program, we offer 5 hours of tabletop games on the 3rd Saturday of every month. Sleep late, play games, then go enjoy your Saturday evening. Snacks and drinks are provided, but you can also hit up the Farmers Market or any of the local restaurants and bars while you're here. The library offers discounted parking, but there's also plenty of free parking in the surrounding area. Ages 18 and up are welcome.
We meet every Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Harper Lee meeting room on the 5th floor of the library. We have a pretty big selection of games, but you're always welcome to bring your own. We've also got several small group rooms reserved in case anyone wants more privacy or more room to spread out. Snacks and drinks are provided each week, but everyone is always welcome to bring a treat. The last Tuesday of every month is potluck. Head next door to Trivia Night at the Flying Saucer once we close! Also, this program is ideally for folks ages 18 Earth years and up. For more info, call[masked]. Ask for Shani. Rhymes with chicken chow mein-y.
Drink. Think. Socialize. What more do I have to say! Come join us for weekly trivia at the Flying Saucer in downtown Little Rock! The game is free, drinks and food are not. ALSO:PLEASE TIP YOUR SERVER, AND TIP WELL. Here's how the game works: First round is always current events, usually with a couple of sports and movie questions thrown in. Second two rounds are a collection of random themes. Each team has an answer sheet and turns in their ten answers at the end of each round. There are first, second and third place prizes. All are gift certificates for the Saucer (first place is $50, second $35, third $15). I should note that they'll disqualify the team if they see anyone using a cell phone during the rounds. Seating is first-come, first-serve. Normally, we meet in the basement, which can be reached by turning right after going through the lobby. Hope to see you guys there! :D
