Have you built any cool robotics or electronics projects, or do you plan to build something cool?

I've built a few cool things and hope to build more - something along the lines of an atomomus robot explorer robot - with self rerouting damage compensation - something like a Mars Rover perhaps.

Is there anything you want to learn or teach others about at LVBots?

My Robotics technology level is using relay controlled motors and CDS cells as light sensors - pre transistor technology. I'd like to step things up to microprocessor controlled devices.

I've been interested in Electronics/robotics for a good number of years, I've taught Electronics for the military, and have worked at Raytheon.

What Timothy is saying about this Meetup Group

Interesting - The group seems knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They welcomed the new comers in the group and went out of their way to ensure people didn't feel left out. Though there was a structured agenda, things were free form enough to accommodate questions and a mini discussion.
