Ladies, Wine & Design was started after realizing that women sometimes view each other as competition rather than allies in the Creative industry. With a statistically low percentage of female art directors, Jessica saw Ladies, Wine & Design as a way to create a healthy, welcoming community for women to support one another through mentorship circles, talks, and creative meet-ups. Today, our chapters have grown to over 180 cities worldwide. We host monthly events to gather creative women. We’ll wine, dine, and have casual conversations on a wide variety of topics relating to creativity, business, and life. We want to inspire women and encourage them to speak out more in the creative industry.
*****Please note that this event will take place at the Wework Changping Road location instead of the usual West Nanjing Road location. For address details, please refer to the bottom.*****
Spring is all around Shanghai and for the month of April we'd like to provide you with the same bloom of ideas!
At our chapter in Shanghai, we hold monthly salon events inviting successful women in the Creative Industry to share their life experiences and inspire others like themselves.
This month we will be inviting 3 ladies to talk all about where and how they start the creative process to form a good idea. They are:
Evelina Martirosyan Buglak
Fashion Designer and Stylist
Fashion passionate not only as a mass market product and social trend , but as a way of art and expression . It is always interesting for me to see how people change themselves through clothes and how society changes the direction of the product and consumer. With background in different international brands, I always try to maintain fashion as an art, collaborating as a freelancer in projects that conserve personal creativity.
As a freelance photographer, Ondak tries to present a free and adventurous atmosphere in her shooting, and the other side of masculinity.
Ariana Crisafulli is the Managing Editor of an expat magazine in Shanghai and a freelance writer. Prior to her role as Managing Editor, Ariana worked in marketing and online community management and then as a freelance writer for two years while she solo traveled Asia and Latin America. Her work and her experiences allowed her to continue her writing career right here in Shanghai where she arrived a year ago.
Following each talk will be an open discussion as well as a networking session to meet more like-minded individuals, all while enjoying a fabulous glass of wine!
