• Talk #1: Your next designer should be a UX writer — Don Seidenberg
Without words, it’s hard to create a good user experience. Good UX writing can shape your design, improve the sales funnel and make your interactions more meaningful.
Don Seidenberg advocates a content first approach to web design. He will share his thoughts on: storytelling, adding personality to your brand and improving the flow of your customer journey.

Talk #2: Help clients move from a deliverables mindset to being meaningful for people — Marcel Zwiers
"We design for aspiring organizations that strive to be meaningful for people." That is what we do. And if there is one thing we’ve learned over the years, is that most organizations truly value their customer already but they often find it very hard to know what to say. Or how to listen to them. So in order to help them understand their customer and the things they experience, we’ve conducted a lot of research over the years. With persona’s and customer journey maps as our main deliverables. And yet. Looking back, the most value we’ve created isn’t found in the deliverables themselves, but in everything that is happening within the projects.

Don Seidenberg is a UX writer and content designer, who loves making complex products easy to understand and use. Don writes content flows, interfaces, product pages and microcopy. He can articulate your story so it resonates with your customers.

Marcel Zwiers is the co-founder of 31Volts. This is the first service design studio of The Netherlands, where they work for a wide range of customers such as Slachtofferhulp Nederland, KLM and Schiphol Airport.
