What we're about

This meetup is geared for women (kids welcome to tag along too) interested in wellness! Hosted by local Holistic Wellness Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, and Wellness Educator, Audrey Christie, MSN, RN. We will meet in Corinth, Hickory Creek, Shady Shores, Lake Dallas, and Denton and take various weather permitting outdoor yoga and walking adventures. Occasionally I will host online and in-person workshops too!

BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat) to this all-level practice in the Lake Dallas Library. This is free or suggested $5 donation, kids can join in or sit and ready while we practice. All-levels and abilities welcome. In addition to asana (posture) instruction, this class includes brief meditation and pranayama (breathing) practice. I emphasize proper body alignment and awareness, and use of breath for integration and release. My teaching style promotes strength, flexibility and the ability of the body to recover from day-to-day stresses. This class is tailored to meet the needs of the individual student for that day. Feel free to bring a friend too! If you have special needs, please try to let me know in advance so I can bring props for all. <3
