Book Discussion Meeting

Please join us at our second book discussion meeting on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm  here at Lake Country Wellness & Counseling. We will be discussing the David Perlmutter, MD's challenging and intriguing book "Grain Brain" which informs us why our typical American diet is not working for us and is in fact making us sick.

The  “The Four Agreements”  discussion was so fruitful, we are going ot keep the discussion going in the conversation panels below.  Whether you were able to attend the group or not, we would love to learn your thought son this powerful book by Don Miguel Ruiz.  These four agreements are:  1) Be impeccable with your word; 2) Don’t take anything personally; 3) Don’t make assumptions; and 4) Always do your best.

    Very nice to meet you all! Here is the link I promised for the PB Chocolate Chip muffins. You can sub out the sweetener for whatever your dietary preferences are. I have also not used the peanut flour and just used extra almond flour or protein powder. I have also subbed the cream cheese with greek yogurt (if I didn't have it in the house). This website has a lot of really nice gluten/grain free recipes. Enjoy and have a lovely weekend!
