Registration is now open for the 32nd Annual Ramble hosted by the Bicycle Club of Lake County (IL)! This is a recreational ride - beginning and ending at the Kenosha County Fairgrounds - which passes through Southeastern Wisconsin and Northeastern Illinois on scenic rural roads. Your registration fee includes marked roads, maps, a centrally located rest stop serving homemade cookies, sandwiches, fruit, and snacks, SAG support for riders requiring assistance and a post-ride cookout with live music and - wait for it - showers!

Check out pics from 2012's ride here (http://www.meetup.com/Lake-County-Bicycle-Group/photos/8975752/).

The route opens at 6:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm; Century riders must be on the road no later than 8:00 am and all other riders no later than 10:00 am.

Register online by June 1st for just $22.00 and score a FREE pair of Ramble socks! Register by mail for $25.00 through June 1st; after June 1st, fees increases to $30.00.

Meetup

I will be driving a blue Honda Odyssey van and will attach a balloon to the antenna; I will also email my cell phone number to all riders who have RSVPed "Yes" by the night before the ride. Anyone who wants to hook-up pre-ride can look for the balloon or give me a buzz if you can't find us - I plan on hitting the route when it opens at 6:00am. Post-ride, again, give me a call if you're looking for the group and can't find us.
