What we're about

No longer in your 20s but still looking to get out and enjoy life with fun friends nearby? This group is for women who are looking to make new friends or may already have a great group of friends, but are in that time of life where work, kids, spouses, or just LIFE seems to get in the way of finding other women available for a fun day or night out. Meeting up for wine or a beer, checking out a band in town, or hiking in one of the many nearby parks, any woman looking to find other women they can relate to and have some fun with, this group is for you. No judgement allowed.

Chocolatefest (Need I say more?)

Chocolate Fest

Food, tents, bands, rides, chocolate tastings and more. Doesn't seem like this festival is missing anything! There are official Chocolate Fest fairgrounds, and we can meet at the main entrance. Meet at 4pm, and feel free to leave whenever you like. Plan is to simply walk around and check out anything that looks interesting. Everyone should feel free to pursue anything that catches their eye. We don't have to stay together. We can branch off depending on how many show up or if anyone wants to wander off alone, and plan on meeting up together again at set times for anything special. Can't imagine a festival dedicated to chocolate won't be somewhat fun, well unless you don't like chocolate that is. But they have plenty of other things to choose from as well. Tickets available starting April 30 at the below, or onsite day of. http://chocolatefest.com/ Wear your expandable waistbands! :)

Book Club Baby! (a Gentleman in Moscow)

Barrique Wine & Brew Bar

By popular demand, its a Book Club Day! We can meet over wine and coffee and chat about what we thought of the book. Also, let's have each person bring one discussion topic regarding the book as well (what you loved, hated, didn't understand, or just wow us with some deep and impressive literary insight). I'm going to set the location for Barrique Wine bar, but I may adjust the location when we see how many people join this one. This one is by request, so as always, it is for you ladies!

Lake Geneva Shoreline Path (1 of 3: Lake Geneva to Williams Bay)

Lake Geneva Public Beach

What are you going to say come September when someone asks you what you did this summer? Why not say I walked the Shoreline Path! Try to do the whole path with us, or just one leg. But see our beautiful lake for all it has to offer. Roughly 23 miles which we will break up into three different walks, this path will walk past Lake Geneva historic mansions, elaborate lawns and gardens, boats, camps, a treehouse, century-old private retreats and modern manors. Each leg will be between 7-8 miles. So not a cake walk, but minimal elevation and for the most part. I have read trails are "easy" and "well marked", but I make no promises, we will have to find our way and see what kind of adventures we find:). As we get closer to dates, we will need to coordinate cars, so we can park one (or two) at our final stop for the day, and cart everyone back to the beginning. Timing should take about 2.5 hours. There are restaurants and coffee in Williams Bay Beach for those that want it at the end. Walk the shore! Hope to see you there:) Kim

Lake Geneva Shoreline Path (2 of 3: Williams Bay to Black Point)

Don't worry if you didn't do the first leg, join us for the second! Roughly 23 miles total, this is the second leg of the Lake Geneva Shoreline Path. It encompasses Lake Geneva historic mansions, elaborate lawns and gardens, boats, camps, a treehouse, century-old private retreats and modern manors. We will start at Williams Bay but park at Owl Tavern just off the coast of Black Point as our final destination, so a beer or mimosa will be well earned at the end. Walk the shore! Hope to see you there:) Kim
