What we're about

The Trail Riders of Central Florida are cycling enthusiasts who prefer to ride paved off-road trails. We have a standard ride on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (check the schedule for times). The ride starts at the back-parking lot of Lake Monroe Park. We ride north on the Spring to Spring Trail, turn east to pick up the East Central Regional Rail Trail, and eventually turn south to the end of Guise Road where we take a break. We return on the reverse route though some days we add a spur to the bridge on 415 at the St. Johns River. We start our rides together but usually break into 2 or 3 groups based on ability. Speed ranges from 15 to 18 mph. We have a no drop policy so no one gets left behind. Additionally, we have 3 regrouping locations so anyone who has fallen back has a chance to rejoin the group. It’s a beautiful ride, mostly through wooded areas and new riders and visitor are always welcome.

Helmets are required for all rides and earbuds/headphones are prohibited.

We occasionally schedule other rides at Beresford Park in Deland or the Van Fleet Trail but all rides are posted here.

Roundtrip our rides are:
Standard ride: 31.7miles
Standard plus a trek to the bridge: 40 miles
Beresford Park: 11 miles per lap and we usually do at least 2 laps.
Van Fleet Trail: up to 60 miles
Gobblers Lodge to Titusville and back: 47 miles
Edgewater Metric: 65.5 miles
