i use quicken instead of quickbooks. with most consultants a cash basis accounting system is more appropriate than an accrual system.  and quicken is simpler for nonaccounting types even tho i studied accounting as part of my economics major.

Hi everyone! we are looking for someone to speak at our next meetup about small business accounting and perhaps answer some questions from the members about setting up/managing billables and so on. (you ARE billing people, right?)

If you've got someone or know of someone whos a quickbooks expert or just 'good with accounting' let me know.
