Strawberry Jam Canning Class!

Allison Carroll D.
Portland, ME
Post #: 12
Hi Everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I'll be teaching a class on making and canning strawberry jam on July 11, from 1-4 PM, at Milkweed Farm in Brunswick. Here's a description of the class:

July 11, 2013, Making and Canning Strawberry Jam, 1-4 PM, Milkweed Farm, Brunswick, Maine
In this 3-hour, hands-on workshop, we’ll cover big-picture canning concepts, safe home canning procedures, tools, and techniques, as well as jam-making specifics. Then, as a class, we’ll make and can a batch of strawberry jam. The goal, by the end of class, is for each participant to feel confident in making and canning a simple jam on their own at home! And, everyone will leave class with a jar of strawberry jam to enjoy. $45 per person. For more information, visit, or To register, contact

Hope to see some of you there!
