What we're about

We are a community of yoga students and teachers dedicated to practicing in a supportive, noncompetitive environment, where all ages, fitness levels, shapes and genders feel welcome. We believe that yoga is more than just exercise--it relieves stress and improves our lives by calming the mind, healing the body & feeding the spirit!

We come to the mat from a variety of yoga traditions, including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Hatha & Sivananda. Newcomers are always invited. Classes range from relaxing Gentle & Restorative to flowing Vinyasa and athletic Core-Fusion, a blend of yoga, Pilates & Barre. Modifications are offered to accommodate injuries and make classes enjoyable for every body!

Gentle Yoga for Strength

Please join Melanie for our newest class! Gentle Yoga for Strength is a mash-up of yoga, core conditioning & barre techniques. Enjoy an hour of stretching, toning, & balance work to strengthen the body safely and slowly. Recommended for both new and experienced yogis. Props will be used, so please bring a mat and light hand weights, blocks, bands, straps, and an exercise ball if you have them. The instructor will have a few mats and props to borrow if you don't. Class cost is $15, paid to the instructor. Cash or class card, purchased from the instructor; $70 for any 5 classes through 12/31/18.

Gentle Flow--All Levels

Please join us for a gentle, all levels flow class, suitable for both beginners and experienced yogis. Please bring a mat, blocks, blanket or bolster and strap if you have them. The instructor will have a few mats and props to borrow if you don't. Class cost is $15, paid to the instructor. Cash or class card. Please see instructor to purchase class card; 5 classes for $70, good for any class through 9/30/18.

Thursday Night Yoga

Please join us for a relaxing Slow Flow Yoga class. Suitable for beginners as well as experienced yogis. Movements are coordinated with breath as we flow from posture to posture. Class begins with grounding exercises and gentle warm-ups, then progresses to energizing sun salutations, followed by standing poses to develop strength and endurance, along with postures to improve balance and concentration. We end with gentle stretches, twists and forward folds to cool down, then rest in rejuvenating Savasanah. Class cost is $15, paid to the instructor. Cash or class card. Please see instructor to purchase class card; $70 for any 5 classes through 4/30/19.
