What do you find most interesting about The Land Ops Adventure Group?

Really like the idea of training with GPS and radios. This is a skill that I would like to acquire and build on.

Do you own a vehicle you can take off road? If so what kind?

I own a few 4 wheel drive vehicles but will probably bring my military surplus Blazer.

Do you own a GPS device for geocaching? If so, what kind?

Have a Garmin 60 handheld and GPS apps on my iPhone.

Are you a licensed Ham radio operator? If YES, please give call sign. If NO, do use any other two way radio communications such as FRS/GMRS?

Yes, I am.. WA6JIA. Also have CB and GMRS comms.

How did you hear about Land Ops?

I'm Jerry, retired phone guy. I live in Yucca Valley but keep all my stuff in Landers.
