Steve currently works as a Principal Consultant for DevFacto (www.devfacto.com), an idea and solutions company and Western Canada's premier professional services firm. Previously, he worked for Microsoft as an Enterprise Consultant engaging as a SharePoint specialist with Microsoft's largest enterprise and government customers around North America to design technology solutions for their most challenging business problems. Before joining Microsoft, Steve was also a Software Engineer and Technical Lead at Electronic Arts.
Steve Goodyear is an author and a SharePoint expert living in Vancouver, Canada, where he writes and works as a consultant and solution architect. He is the author of "Practical SharePoint 2013 Governance", an action-focused IT governance gem! (http://www.apress.com/9781430248873)
Arrive between 6:00pm and 6:30pm to network with other attendees. The presentation starts at 6:30pm. The evening consists of a 45 minute talk by Steve Goodyear, followed by a 30-minute Q&A with the audience.
