Can you make a statement about the financial process; ased on amounts of money required from the beginning. How is it different from seeing a house you like somewhere else, being sold for profit, and make a down payment and then pay a certain amount for the forever more. For example we moved into our home 13 years ago when I was 60 years old. We made a downpayment and have been bringing it down ever since. and we still haven't completely paid it off. Would I have to follow the same procedure with co-housing. 13 years from now I will be about 87 years old.
