We are working with the Lansdale Electronics group for some meetups. This is an intro level meeting for those interested:
"Our next couple meets will go back to basics; for the August Meet we'll talk about volts, amps, and ohms, and what their relation to each other is (ohm's law). We will talk about what you need to know about these things in your projects, especially how to make sure you don't let the magic smoke out of your project or burn up your arduino/pi or power supply.
This is a great beginner's topic for anyone interested in electronics, including those working with Arduinos, Raspberry PIs and ANY other electronics, as these key elements are fundamentals of electricity. The topics will be discussed in a way intended for all ages.
I will try to bring some handouts and demonstrations for this, so please RSVP if you're planning to attend! This group is meant to be hands on and we have a great room at the Lansdale library with plenty of space, so hopefully we'll see you there!"
