Harmony Happy Hour ~ We'll LAUGH for no reason as we connect to JOY!
As we connect to our childlike playfulness through laughter exercises, laughter begins to flow effortlessly. Proven health benefits include: Reduced Stress, Boosting of Immune System, Reduced Symptoms of Allergies, Asthma & Pain, Increased Circulation, Mental Stamina and Performance, Elevated Mood, & Fostering feelings of Love, Joy & Compassion. No yoga mats needed. Appropriate for all ages (5-105). Just bring your willingness to be playful (and a few friends…The more, the merrier!). Laughter Yoga is offered on a donation basis as a service to the community. Nothing to give? Just share your laughter with us! LY is a unique form of exercise in which we combine laughter exercises with deep breathing techniques from yoga that bring more energy into the body & brain making us feel more energetic and healthy. We start by laughing as an exercise in a group, then with eye contact & childlike playfulness, the elicited laughter turns into contagious & genuine laughter. LY is based on the scientific fact that your body cannot differentiate between fake & real laughter. So, fake it 'til you make it! Started by a medical doctor in India with just 5 people in 1995, Laughter Yoga now has thousands of clubs in over 72 countries around the world!

What we're about

Laughter Yoga is a unique form of exercise in which ANYONE can laugh without relying on humor, jokes or comedy. We initiate laughter as an exercise in a group, then with eye contact and childlike playfulness, the elicited laughter turns into genuine, contagious laughter. It is called Laughter Yoga because we combine deep breathing techniques from yoga with laughter exercises. Laughter Yoga is based on the scientific fact that your body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter…you still get the same health benefits either way…so, fake it 'til you make it! Laughter Yoga was started by a medical doctor in India, Dr. Madan Kataria, in a park in Mumbai with just 5 people in 1995. Today, there are thousands of Laughter Clubs in over 72 countries around the world!
