From the LCPMG Message Board:
I know it has been a while since I last presented to the group, but I wanted to invite you to an upcoming presentation.
From the flyer (http://www.dionmcinnis.com/images/CF.Art_Removes_Borders-flyer.pdf): In “Art Removes Borders: The Czech Republic Experience,” Dion McInnis conveys through images and words the experiences of teaching 11 students at ArtCamp 2010 in the Czech Republic, and then experiencing Plzen and Prague in his first-ever trip out of America. Working for a week at University of West Bohemia, McInnis taught students about creating images each morning, and using words in the afternoon. One student said, “Dion, you are the best teacher of my life. It’s true. Very important. You teach more than photography. You teach life. It is about us. It’s important. It’s true.” Attend to see and hear of the process, the results and the disappearance of borders through art.
I presented this to the Woodlands United Methodist Photo Club last night, too. Upcoming: Nov. 16 from 5:30 to 7 at University of Houston-Clear Lake. Free!
Location - U. of Houston - Clear Lake - Bayou Building, Garden Room
Time: 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
