Non-fiction - How to Be a Woman by Caitlin Moran

Our next book for discussion is ‘How to Be A Woman' by Caitlin Moran. The discussion will be chaired by Mala who nominated it.

Many thanks to Sally for so brilliantly chairing the discussion on Kate Adie's ‘The Kindness of Strangers’.

As always, we’ll meet from 7:30 onwards in the bar and then move upstairs to start the discussion at 8pm.

Please keep your RSVP response up to date.

I was looking forward to this however I'm away with work now this week :(
I found the book quite irritating in parts - so I was really looking forward to a good debate / discussion on this one! Look forward to hearing how it goes.

I won't be able to come now either! I was really looking forward to meeting everyone as well :( I found the book enjoyable to read, but I know what you mean about some parts being irritating. She definitely voiced some good points though! I'll try to be there at the next one :)

You may have noticed that The Royal Spa Centre has stopped showing films. They have vague plans to return to doing so but to make sure this happens you could, as I have, email the general manager ([masked]) to let him know why the showing of art films is important, what market there is for them and what needs the RSC cinema meets that the Apollo/Vue does not.

I'm starting a new job soon, which will be shift work, so may have to decline. If I can, I'll be there.
