☆Hatha yoga is one of the 3 classic types of yoga, ment to purify our bodies by relieving toxins, strengthening our muscles, increasing our flexibility and balancing two of the major energies which operate in our bodies, the Ha and Tha, the sun and moon, male and female, energies which guvern the left and right hemispheres of our brains with the purpose of raising our vibrations and raising our energy levels.
☆Through the practice of yoga (asana, pranayama, meditation) one should expect to feel much more relaxed, better able to cope, better able to focus. Yoga brings coherence between your heart and brain, it stabilizes the blood pressure, calms the mind and helps the body fight pathogens by strenghtening the immune system.
☆Yoga asanas are a holistic type of physical exercises designed to use the entire range of movement of the body, thus activating all of our muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints bringing both strength and flexibility to our bodies.
☆This group is for anyone who want to learn yoga and improve their overall health and physical and mental condition.
☆To begin we will be doing the classes either in my back yard or at the Newbold Comyn park. Outdoor yoga gives us a deeper connection with mother earth allowing our bodies to fully engage all our senses creating a deeper bond with ourselves and the world around us.
