This week we will be doing some different warm-up exercises (Qigong) . We will be using the warm-up set designed for Tai Chi for Diabetes - A program from the Tai Chi for Health organization. This set will get us warmed up for our Tai Chi session where we will continue to cultivate less dependence on a particular leader. Beginners and first timers always welcome!
The meetup sessions emphasize getting the right feel for the fundamentals in an environment that is relaxing, fun and invigorating. You can build on these fundamentals through our continuing group practice or take them with you to other classes.
Sessions are open to all - We try to gear the sessions for those who are just starting, but also help the more experienced cultivate their practice. This is also a great place for serious students who may be between classes and want to work with a group and learn some different practices.
Sessions start at 6:15, but get there around 6:00 to meet other people and ask questions.
Sessions are free - Our space is rented through donations collected at the end of the session - $3-$5 is the suggested amount. Hope to see you there!
