See the Fireworks

  • This location is shown only to members

'Once again in 2013, tens of thousands of people are expected to gather at Roundhay Park to enjoy Leeds’ biggest bonfire and fireworks event.

Admission to the Roundhay Park bonfire and firework display is FREE, no tickets required!.

Bonfire - Fire lighting at 7.30 pm - Fireworks: Firework Display from 8pm
*All timings approximate!'

I wondered if anyone fancied seeing the fireworks? We can meet before hand for food if anyone has suggestions?

A plan..... If people want food before hand we can meet outside the Red Hot Buffet on the Headrow at 5:30pm and either go in there for food or somewhere else close by.  Please could you let me know if you want to meet us for food too so that I know who we are waiting for.

Then eat and catch a bus from New Briggate up to Roundhay Park in plenty of time to see the fireworks.

************A meeting point for people just wanting to see the fireworks is 6:45pm outside Red Hot then we can walk and catch the bus together***********

If driving there get there early and park in the side streets near the Pub 'The Deer Park' on Street Lane and walk to The Roundhay park ( 6 minute walk) because it gets very busy! If it has been raining the park can get very muddy so wellingtons can be a good idea.

Regarding a meeting place 'The Deer park' or Starbucks on Street Lane is good or nearer the park you have 'The Roundhay Fox' which will get very busy with passing people.

Remember its gets busy because its so good!!. If you have never been its definitely worth going!!!
