What we're about

We're lazy! But we want it to look like our body is our temple. So If you're also looking for the fastest way to lose fat, get fit and improve the function of your physique, look no further than Leeds Kettlebell Swingers.

We're a ragtag group of fitness revolutionaries who, like you, are sick of spending tedious hours in the big box gyms in exchange for mediocre results. We like shortcuts to fitness so we've finally discovered the number ONE secret to achieving a lean, strong, fully functional body and you can get in on the action too.

We're based at Meanwood's Temple Holistic Centre on Authorpe Road, right next door to Crunch Gym, Tigers Gym and Fit-Busters Personal Training Studio (and conveniently located a stones-throw from Waitrose, a bunch of fine eateries and the celebrated Alfreds Bar ;)

You're in good hands when you come to get fit with us because over the last 10 years our Instructors have been trained and certified by the leading experts in Kettlebell functional fitness such as Pavel, Steve Cotter, Steve Maxwell, Brett Jones and Jason Dean.

Kettlebell training gets a lot of hype these days in fitness magazines and early morning infomercials but the bitter reality is that most commercial programmes are potentially dangerous, full of BS and aren't even worth the digital space they occupy. The truth is that kettlebell training, when done CORRECTLY has repeatedly been proven by Sports scientists to safely deliver the ultimate in all-round fitness results, tightening your tummy, protecting you from injury, strengthening you back and acting as a springboard for improvements in every physical activity you can be bothered to think about.

Injury prevention is key to successful training (nothing is more frustrating than getting injured just as your motivation to sort yourself out peaks) so on hand at the centre are experts in biomechanics, nutrition, sports therapy, chartered Physiotherapy and reflexology to name just a few.

If you're like us, you might be saying to yourself "those kettlebells look right heavy". You're right, some of them are, but others are lighter than your Mum's handbag (even if she's in her 90's) so there is no excuse not to get started. We have over 70 kettlebells to choose from, ranging from 2.5kg (same as a small chicken) all the way up to 64kg (same as a large dog - that's one twice the size of my Boxer, Max).

So if you want to be able to carry more shopping in from the car and look good doing it why not come and give it a go?

We run comprehensive kettlebell programmes throughout the year (they run on Tuesday's, Thursdays and Fridays) but you can learn or improve on the basics for free by just turning up to our free regular Saturday class at 1pm or asking for a free 121 body diagnostic session and free personal coaching session with Jason Dean. Do your 'bells swing low? They can now... 😜

The jokes are bad but the training is challenging and fun. 😂 Oh, and like everyone who tries this you are sure to get the results your looking for...
