This is a SOCIAL GROUP for people who experience, and have experienced, issues with their mental health. Our aim is to provide a variety of small, safe, social events in and around Leeds, for people with mental health problems who want to get out of the house and meet new people who will understand and respect their situation. We also plan on having fun, sharing ideas, and helping each other to feel comfortable and supported among friends.
If you have, or have had, problems with your mental health, and you feel you want to mix with real people who are in the same boat as you, then we would like to help you. We respect the fact that those suffering from depression, anxiety, O.C.D, panic attacks, P.T.S.D, and other conditions, need a more relaxed environment and a little more understanding when it comes to time, environment, and attendance, so why don't you give us a go?
PLEASE NOTE: We are purely a social group, and as such we do not offer any of the following: Counselling, One to one befriending, Psychiatric advice, or Crisis support!
If you feel that you are in need of any of these services then we would always suggest contacting the charity LEEDS MIND: email@example.com
