How Viruses Affect Evolution

In honour of Darwin Day, we will be having a talk about viruses. How they evolved, why they make us sick, how pandemics rise and fall, and how, without viruses, we wouldn't be who we are.

Gabrielė Stakaitytė is a PhD student at the University of Leeds, working on tumour viruses.

Running a couple if minutes late. Very tires, and grabbed the wrong hat. Look like a pimp. So if you spot a tired looking pimp in bk as ck, please guide me towards the group. J x

Looks interesting. I know a couple of you, but if those are not there, then could one of the others please come up and poke me. Will arrive in a hat, so easy to spot.
Until I know people well, facial recognition is not one of my strong points.
