shall we skip July? - Veritas is closed in July for refurbishment - shall we just not have a Leeds Ruby Thing in July? Quite a few other tech meetups stop for the summer anyway, as a lot of people are away on holiday. John. John L. Jun 26, 2017 10:44 AM

Re: [leedsrubything] Leeds Ruby Thing - Lightning talks for October - I'd love to hear both, but I'd vote for the VPS workflow this month and development workflow the next LRT you're at. On 12 October 2016 at 14:54, Rahoul Baruah (Baz) Rahim Packir S. Oct 12, 2016 3:13 PM

September 2016 lightning talks - Hi Rubyists, it's Leeds Ruby Thing on 29th September so I'm soliciting lightning talkers. Who fancies giving a short, informal 5-1 0min talk? Re: [leedsrubything] lightning talks brief debrief - +1 to aim for 5mins, burned at the stake at 10mins. +1 to avoiding the hassle of a projector screen. It's probably good discipline to be able to just talk with the crutch of slides, but I thin Rahim Packir S. May 24, 2016 10:43 AM
lightning talks brief debrief - So, the talks last month were a success I think! lightning talks at next Leeds Ruby Thing - Hi Ruby-thingers, we've been talking for a while now about doing some short talks at Leeds Ruby Thing. I suggest we start at the next event (28th April). It's common to suggest a format of 20 slides with 15 seconds per slide (which is 5 mins total John L. Apr 14, 2016 10:22 PM
