Does your script have a hook? An inciting incident? A central question? Act breaks? A midpoint? A high point? A low point? It had better! In this first of a series of informal screenplay talks, screenwriter/professor Jared M. Gordon will discuss screenplay structure from the ground up and how to write an outline from which you can build a new script or rewrite an existing draft.
Jared's students have placed in Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship (sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences), the Austin Film Festival Screenplay and Teleplay Competition, and Final Draft Big Break.
$20 for the session. Please only RSVP if you are positive you can be present.
