Mindfulness for Stress Management One day Retreat Workshop

Bring Packed lunch. Teas and coffees available.

Bring blanket and/or mat to lay on.

Wear loose comfortable clothing.

Introduction: Whilst stress management is something that takes time to understand and implement, it can be highly motivating for people who are unaware of the potential impact of stress to learn about it and start to understand for themselves not only their triggers but some simple ways of dealing with it.

In the One day workshops I call the ‘gift’ I share tools tips and insights for stress management. Utilising mindfulness, cognitive behavioural and solution focused techniques, we help people take control of stress in their daily, work, and home life and begin to show up as their best selves. Come and enjoy an experiential day of focused learning and quiet reflection. We will practice mindfulness exercise, share group work and experience mindfulness in action.

The Day Retreat Course Outline

An introduction to stress and stress management
Understanding the signs and symptoms of stress
Understanding how it is triggered, including ‘thought patterns
Exploring personal triggers and how to eliminate, reduce or cope with them
Explore simple strategies for coping such as, mindfulness techniques, relaxation exercises, cognitive behavioural techniques and many other Clinically proven tools.
At the end of the day participants will leave with an understanding of what stress is, the causes and how to apply the tools of mindfulness and stress management in daily life to remain focused, calm and clear.
