Hi. This group is currently suspended as I have foot injury which means I cant run. I hope in a month or two I will be able to run and hopefully suspending the group will jinx me back to good foot health.

I have been thinking about starting this meetup for a while, I am in my forties and have just put my running shoes on again after a couple of months of almost no exercise - colds, cold weather, rain, leaves on the tracks and loads of other excuses☺
If you are based in London and you would like to join me that would be great. It’s a not a competitive run, just a chance to exercise with other friendly lesbians, in a nice green park with plants and trees and friendly dogs☺ We don't have to run at the same pace, the idea would be that we would all do the same route and the ones at the front will get the 'kettle on the hob' The most important aspect of the run is that there is café nearby for coffee, cake or whatever. The runs will be earlyish morning so you will still have your weekend to enjoy. It will be no longer than 5K and will sometimes be part of the national free to join Park Run scheme. We will also have runs that will be shorter, such as one lap around a park which has a decent café.
