Details

This tour is 29th June and NOT 22nd June as previously listed.

• What we'll do
Join the V&A's fascinating free, monthly volunteer-led tour that explores gender and sexual identities through a selection of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer related objects in the V&A's rich collections. Each tour guide offers a different tour, so each time you come you could get a different experience!

The tour is at 4pm-5pm, so meet from 3:45pm in the main atrium of the Grand Entrance (next to the main entrance). If you arrive after the tour starts at 4pm it won't be possible to meet with the group as they'll have moved to a different area of the museum. The museum closes at 5:45pm so there will be time to look around the museum afterwards also.

WHERE TO MEET: Meet inside the main atrium of the museum. The LGBTQ tour is quite popular so look for the crowd and tour guide in one corner. They will put on a special tour guide for this group so will help you find each other, but otherwise look for a large group of women.

THERE IS NO HOST FOR THIS MEETUP so please ask the tour guides for the tour group for the Meetup group. They will make an announcement for you so listen out. Then you should be able to meet each other.

AFTER THE EXHIBITION: Go and get a drink or a cuppa with the lovely people you've met

• What to bring
Nothing

• Important to know
This is a public tour and is run on a monthly basis, however I cap the number of places on this meetup because the museum provides a tour guide specifically for us.
