Salher fort trek - Camp at the highest fort of Maharashtra 5141 ft
Details Trek Info: Trekking Grade: Medium Endurance Grade: Medium Duration: 5 hours ascent on Day 1 & 4 hours descent on Day 2 We are glad to come up with another beautiful trek in the Western ghats. The Salher fort trek, especially in monsoons will keep you hooked with mesmerizing landscape views throughout the trail. Day 01; We will start our trail from the base village around noon. The trail begins with a easy and almost flat hiking section. Further, another 30 min hike through the stairs will provide you one of the best overarching views of the whole village. The trail further is is all about traversing slopes and few staircase sections near every fort entry gate. The stairs are easy to climb. All you need to ensure is to have a slow and steady pace ensuring good grip. The Salher trek was also about one of the best cumulonimbus cloud formation views. One can witness clouds moving swiftly through the valley and at times they'll even pass through you. As you continue further you'll find natural water sources to refill your water bottles. The Ganga kund at the top holds the reputation of a man made swimming pool for trekkers. A Quick dip in the pool will refresh your body for sure. The natural caves near to the pond are suitable for camping at night. We will plan a hike to the Lord Parshuram temple also (depending on the weather) which is the highest point of Salher fort trek. Day 02; This day is all about best valley views enroute to the Salota fort. We'll start our hike early morning and after circumscribing the Salher fort we will descend to Salota. One needs to relax here for a while to absorb the vibe of the place. Nowhere in western ghats will you witness nature in such humongous form. The Salher and Salota peaks stand close to each other giving the impression of twin forts. A quick hike down through the meander route will get us back to the Salher wadi village and from there we will trace our way back to the city of Hyderabad. So we welcome each and every one of you to tag along. We'll capture many moments together and will create memories. What we're about

Trespassers - the group is not about intruding or to commit trespass and not to pass unlawfully onto others property, which otherwise is actually implied by the word. This is a free spirited, fun loving group with travel enthusiasts, who love traveling together to beautiful and exotic places for pleasure and also to explore. Trespassers main idea is to venture out with excitement, into the wonderful places of nature that allure us, the waterfalls, valleys, mountains, rivers, seas, and to have a delightful experience. We usually travel in a close set of like minded, self motivated and highly enthusiastic people and now, making it open for people with similar interests to join with us on such endeavours, making it more joyful, and fun filled, that last long in the memory lane.
