The Future Show - Artists Repertory Theatre

The Future Show is part of a new series at Artists Rep where they bring in some of the hottest traveling productions for limited runs. This one looks amazing.

More info and tickets: http://www.artistsrep.org/onstage/frontier-series/the-future-show/ Use the code FUTURE for $5 off your ticket.

The Future Show, by Deborah Pearson

In THE FUTURE SHOW, Deborah Pearson attempts to predict her entire future from the moment the show ends and the audience begins to clap. The piece is obsessively rewritten for each new performance and consequently each new future. “Unmissable. ****” –The Herald

“A beautiful, accomplished, bittersweet philosophical work on love, loss and memory.” –Total Theatre Magazine

“An intensely emotional and intellectual evening. The show dug deep and emerged fiery.” –Steel Bananas, Canada

“A theatrical dynamo.” –Lynn Slotkin, The Slotkin Letter

Play didn't move me. Creative idea and glad it was personalized to each performance.

Kaila, I've been looking for you! I'm wearing a puffy orange coat.

Hi all! I just got the scoop that this show runs roughly an hour. Let's plan on meeting in the lounge at Artists Rep beforehand and, if people are interested, going out afterward to Gilda's nearby to talk about it. We'll hopefully have some people from Artists Rep join the conversation!

Sorry, I can't go to this one, but am interested in the other two. I usually get tickets far in advance so hopefully the dates will be the same. If you have the Work for Art card you can get 2-for-1, also through the Chinook Book.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make this show as I'll still be in New York City. Have fun, it sounds like a great show!

Thanks! Don't be too jealous, Krista. The trip I took last month wasn't actually to NYC, just to the Hudson River valley. Speaking of that trip, I brought something back for you from your alma mater Vassar which I'l give to you the next time I see you.

Hi Krista. I just joined this group. How will we buy tickets and sit together? What are the details for meeting up before and/or after the show?

    November 16

    • Krista

Hi Cristi. Welcome to the group! Since ART is assigned seating, we won't necessarily be able to sit together. Fortunately, the theatre is small, so we also won't be too far apart. I'll announce pre-show plans a little closer to the date when we see how many people are coming. I look forward to meeting you!

Tony, I just added the coupon code FUTURE -- it will get you $5 off, so the ticket should be $25.
