It's not looking good for Saturday, however, Sunday should be amazing. And thanks for Saturday's rain - the waterfall should be running through the Eye of the Needle!
We'll explore the Eye of the Needle at the end of Indian Creek, which is my favorite hike in Arkansas - in my mind it has the most "WOWs per linear foot". This hike will take about 5 hours and goes thru very very rugged terrain and is reportedly the most dangerous trail in the area due to slips and falls occurring along the drop-offs.... so, this one is a no-no for pets, young kids, folks scared of heights or otherwise hikers that are rather non-dare-devilish in nature. Sturdy hiking shoes/boots are a must.
Here is a pic of the Indian Creek trail. Please use this to judge whether this hike is for you or not. As always, all participation is at your own risk.
