Adult musicians of all instruments and levels are invited to join our winter Jazz Weekend Workshop at Levine! This winter's session will be held at the MD (Strathmore) Campus, and is coached by Levine Faculty members Noah Getz (Saxophone), Andrew Hare (Drums), and Pepe Gonzales (Bass).

This three-day workshop is designed to give amateur and aspiring jazz musicians an opportunity to come and expand their jazz experience under the direction of Levine's expert jazz faculty. The workshop includes small and large group jam sessions, level-specific jazz instructional sessions, as well as an end-of-weekend concert. No prior experience playing jazz is required, though students should have basic music reading skills. Whether you are already an experienced improviser or have always wanted to get into jazz but weren’t sure how to get started, this workshop provides the ideal opportunity for adult students to develop jazz, ensemble, and improvisational skills in a coached, friendly environment.

The weekend is open to adult jazz musicians of all levels and to all instruments, including vocalists. Pianos, amplifiers, and a drumkit are provided.

The workshop meets:

Friday, January 24th 7:00-9:00 pm,

Saturday, January 25th, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Sunday, January 26th, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Tuition is $309.00 for the weekend. To register online, please see
