Anyone who has been in the past knows just how nice these free concerts are (without rain J). The Garden is always beautiful, the music always good, and the time relaxing. Admission is FREE after 5:00pm and so is parking. You can bring in your own snacks, picnic dinner, and drinks (including alcohol) or they do have some items for sale. You also need to bring your own lawn chair of blanket. Please know the concerts are in the amphitheater and it is a bit of a walk from the lot in case you are bringing a lot.
On this evening we will be there to see a St. Louis favorite, Javier Mendoza. His Latin influenced soulful rock sound is sure to please. If you have never heard him, you will be in for a treat. Those of you who have seen him know he has quite a following for good reason.
If you enjoy a relaxing night with friends, great surroundings and music, this is perfect. We will get there when it opens and try to get our place by “the tree” which sounds funny but will become apparent when directions go out to those who rsvp. The music actually starts about 7:30 so we will have plenty of time to visit. I would not wait til show time to arrive. These concerts draw a crowd and it will be difficult to park and find us.
