What can you contribute to our group?

As Organizer since 22 October 2011, I will do my very best to forge this group into a model for Professional Licensed Massage Therapists, to achieve excellence in all facets of our profession in the healing arts. I am offering my studio as a meeting space for our group, and I am also teaching massage therapy workshops.

Why did you choose to become a Licensed Massage Therapist?

I have always been interested in healing and helping others to the best of my ability. Everyone is equal in my eyes, and I treat them accordingly.

How long have you been practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist, and tell us something about your experiences with your practice.

I have been practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist since 7 June 2006 in the State of Oregon. I have worked on thousands of people in that time, and I have learned a lot about wellness and the human experience. I have also been performing and teaching yoga for 40+ years. I integrate yoga with massage therapy in my practice.

What would you like to see happen in the present and future in our field of Massage Therapy?

Primary goals: Educate everyone to the benefits of Massage Therapy, which I regard as the original medicine. Raise our status as Licensed Massage Therapists in the field of Health Care, and in the eyes of the public. Help each other as Licensed Massage Therapists to earn a decent living while performing our profession.

Aloha, I am a LMT with 10 years experience, and a Yoga Instructor with 40+ years experience, RYT, and BCTMB. YA #29243, OBMT #13099, BCTMB #[masked], NPI #[masked], NCBTMB Approved Provider #1122.
