Pay attention when you google map the location. Note the map on the directions page of the restaurant link below. Best to enter from free lot at Bethlehem Pk per below.

Its set back a little at Top of the Hill Plaza at 8705 Germantown. If coming from Germantown you'll see it behind the water fountain, down the walkway behind the bus turn around/dentist/child care of America building.  There is a Thai Kuu sign across the top of hill plaza setting.

If coming from Bethlehem pike (best) its directly off  the parking lot you'll enter behind spa elisium/hair salon/Primo hoagies. Thai Kuu is across from Heirloom.

Covered patio for outdoor dining.

RSVP via link.  Only members may attend. Change your RSVP status via the quick link on the website if your plans change either way not by emailing Deb or posting on discussion board. Please follow this system so we can give restaurant an accurate count. Thanks.

Yes its OK to be a little late. Most members leave by 1:00 ish. Some earlier if necessary while many others may hang out a while longer to network and connect.

Separate checks with receipt for tax deduction.

We follow an informal loose format. We go around and do brief intros. People are free to mingle before and after. During the main part of the meeting attendees can choose  to eat their meal at one of 4 smaller tables of 6 based on topics related to private practice. These are facilitated informally by members who volunteer to lead a discussion.

That part takes about half the time so the rest is informal networking. Typical topics include: DBT, working with teens, ethics in pp, EMDR, couples work.

If you'd like to lead a topic just let Deb know.

For this date we have 4 choices:

Boundaries in pp ( includes handling unexpected termination) with Kate Walsh

Medication with David Burns, MD

Assertiveness training or principles in tx with Marion Frank, PhD

Working with " resistance" with Kevin Drab, LPC

Folks please dont leave regrets or comments here or email deb. If Your situation changes follow the directions and just switch your rsvp status here on the site. Per all previous directions and emails we need to follow this process to manage rsvps. It works that way. Thanks so much.

For a topic, I was thinking about dealing with accepting all clients in order to build a practice, and the challenges of that, as well as the issue of a clients terminating, without closure. These may be too broad, and/or discussed recently, since I am new, but I thought I would throw these out, and see if anyone would want a discussion around this. I would be happy to facilitate, if there is interest.
