We focus on telling and preserving life stories, family memories, and family history, for you, your family, your community, and future generations. My goal is to help people record their stories in whatever way they choose -- whether writing, videotaping, audiotaping, or using a legacy website -- to name just a few possibilities.  The process of figuring out what to preserve often involves self-exploration that contributes to our own personal growth.

This group offers courses and workshops (fee-based) aimed to inspire you, get your started, and help you finish your project of choice. We also have get-togethers (free) to share our ideas, inspire each other, and keep us motivated.

For those that want to write their stories, we offer an introductory course ("Get Started!") using structured life themes drawing on the Guided Autobiography method. This course jumpstarts you into simply starting to get down your stories. We discuss the themes and then share our short stories in small groups. After this course, participants can take part in one of the many follow-up seminars ("Keep Writing Your Stories") to keep on writing. Not just for "writers" - this course is for anyone who wants to get their stories preserved.

We'll be offering workshops on a variety of topics including:  photo scanning, basic genealogy searches, and creative family history gifts. If you've been meaning to preserve your life stories and family memories -- this group is a great way to start!
