What we're about

Are you seeking an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others and serve in our community. We have many opportunities to share with those less fortunate than ourselves.

Galations 5: 13-14 (NIV)

13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[a];rather, serve one another humbly in love.14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b]

Location visible to members

The City of Refuge Christian Church of Virginia (CORCC) would like to extend an invitation for us to visit and minister to the residents of Leigh Hall Assisted Living Facility. Every 2nd Sunday, members of CORCC, visit, sing, and pray for the residents. They welcome visitors and appreciate us spending time with them.

Adopt A Lot

Location visible to members

Are you or your church interested in feeding those who have fallen on hard times and currently homeless? Most of them are working by day, but have no residence, therefore they sleep in their cars. We are looking for volunteers to assist us with ministering to the needs of others by donating travel size toiletries, food items, & water. We meet near the Donation drop-off in the parking lot to prep the bags. If you know of anyone that needs housing assistance in the Hampton Roads Area, have them call this hotline,[masked]. Local free resources are available at various churches, visit http://www.ABBAlist.com for details. Together we can make a huge impact in the lives of others in our communities, our state, our country, and the world. Although they meet every Saturday, our group will help on the last Saturday on the month.
