What we're about
Lifelong Learning is a group organized by the Mt. Airy Learning Tree (MALT), a nonprofit organization devoted to recreational education in and around Philadelphia, PA. MALT brings neighbors together to share a wide variety of ideas, information, and skills in informal learning environments. We offer 250+ courses three times each year: fall, winter, and spring. Topics range literally from A (Adventures in Sewing) to Z (Zumba). Our classrooms are in local churches, schools, business, homes, and even the outdoors. Course ideas are limited only by our collective imagination. Our teachers are people like you – people who want to share their passions with other adults and who believe in community-oriented exchange. If you have an idea for a course you’d like to teach, please submit your idea (http://mtairylearningtree.org/want-to-teach/) through our website!
A couple of notes:
• RSVPing through the Meetup group does not register you for a course. Please follow the instructions in the events to complete your registration.
• Due to the number of courses we offer each term, we aren’t able to post ALL of them here. (For a complete listing, check out our website (https://aceweb.mtairylearningtree.org/ShowSchedule.awp?~~GROUP~:FULL~Complete+Listings) or contact us (http://mtairylearningtree.org/contact-us/) for a catalog.) However, we do post a lot of them, so you might want to adjust your notification settings for the group so that you don’t get bombarded.
