Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Discussed at Lifetree Café
The impact of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder will be explored at Lifetree Café on Tuesday, July 24, at noon. The program, titled “Wounded Warriors: When War Comes Home,” features a filmed interview with a military veteran who battled PTSD after returning home from the Iraq war. “When I came back, I was on edge every second of the day, whether I was at home or driving,” the veteran says. “All of the curtains were always closed because I was so paranoid. I felt like I was still in Iraq in my own home.” The Lifetree program offers helpful resources and strategies for coping with PTSD.

What we're about

You: A distinct person with your own dreams, opinions, and personality.

Us: A space where for an hour you’ll meet interesting people—like you.

Lifetree Café is a comfortable place where you’ll grab a cup of coffee and slide into a compelling conversation. It’s like stopping by your favorite coffee shop and finding something new on the menu: encouragement...interesting questions...and the chance to share your story with people who actually listen.

The topics change weekly but they’re always relevant. And you’re always welcome just as you are. Your thoughts, your doubts, your certainties—they’re all welcome. At Lifetree we respect each other—and respect our differences. It’s a safe place where we admit we’re in this adventure called life together and that when we show up and do it together it’s way more fun than doing it alone.

So: if you’re up for an hour of conversation and connection with interesting people you’re up for Lifetree Café. Check out when and where we are meeting up.
