How would you rate yourself in terms of your photographic experience? (Just Starting Out, Intermediate, Advanced, Professional)?

I do product photography for a living, also programming and web development. I am given odd items, everything from a hat pin with a tooth on it, reflective silver or gold in various shapes, building photos, or pointing out manufacturers defects smaller than 3mm - all with standard lens and a Canon T1i / and expected to deliver results with immediate turn-around. Then I write code for an advanced shopping cart with no manual. So I guess I'm Intermediate and still learning. Some days I get lucky.

What kinds of things do you like to make pictures of? (Landscapes, People, Etc)

I have been shooting photos off and on for 28 years. I shoot product, street shots, people, buildings, and fashion photography. I like my G9 and when I get a chance to get out like street scenes, journalistic photos of an event, creative and even exposure accidents.

What kinds of events would you like to do?

Neon or strobe lighting outdoors. Group projects. Themed shots with background, people, attire, props and lighting.

Are there any things you would like to learn about photography?

Remote flash packs combined with natural night lighting. always more on studio lighting. inexpensive lighting techniques that create cool effects. Light painting. Techniques. Tilt shift. DOF.

How often do you photograph?

Every single day. sometimes for hours and hours.

I have been shooting for years. Enjoy natural or studio lighting. I do photography, web development and design. Enjoy getting out and shooting with this fun group.
