Tell Your Story: The Art of Nonfiction for Teens
Ask tough questions. Push the limits. Get to your truth. We’ll discover that creative nonfiction is far from the run-of-the-mill academic essays we might be used to as we explore how several facets of nonfiction writing including memoir, essay, and hybrid forms can help us tell our stories. (P.S. This will be extremely helpful when it’s time to write your college admissions essay.) When: Saturday, December 1, 1-4pm Where: 357 S. McCaslin in Louisville Cost: $65 Register and Pay for the class here: Kateri Kramer is from Denver, Colorado where she enjoys rock climbing, crafting, and drinking copious amounts of coffee when she isn’t writing. In addition to completing her MFA at Regis University she is a Middle School English teacher. You can find her essays at Trampset Magazine, and her art on Instagram @madgirlslovesongshop.

What we're about

Lighthouse North (formerly Colorado Writing School) is a group for writers of all levels from any genre. This is a place for writers in the community to come together for various social events and to take classes in which we critique each other's work and talk about all things writing; from generating ideas to plot, structure and character development to publishing. We are the first big satellite location of Lighthouse Writers Workshop.
