Lingo Parlor: Speak English like you mean it!
Welcome to the Parlor!
If you're looking to improve communication with your audience in English, you're in the right place!
Lingo Parlor is not a conversation practice group or a class.
Our coaches host structured activities for you to practice presenting in English and provide customized feedback. Our games and challenges teach you to think better "on your feet” and say what you mean in better ways.
At Lingo Parlor, you can do all of this in front of a friendly audience comprised of individuals who also need your support.

Policy of Membership
Thank you for joining Lingo Parlor! Membership is free but to join and maintain membership, you must:
- be 18+ years of age and fill out all the questions we ask
- behave respectfully during events which includes using a stable, high speed Internet connection. To hear and understand each other very clearly is our #1 priority.
- never solicit any members for dating, sales, or proselytizing.
- not be a "no-show" (3 no-shows will result in removal from the group)

Participation in "English on Your Feet!™ is optimal for English language learners at the intermediate level and above but learners at lower levels are welcome to be in the audience until they feel ready to participate.
Everyone will have a chance to speak to the "audience" and receive feedback from the audience and our coaches. You don't need to prepare anything--just be ready to have fun and try!

Rewordy is the event series focused on vocabulary, word choice in every situation, wording (phrasing), and rewording.
Who should attend?
Participation in our events is optimal for English language learners at the intermediate level and above. Everyone will have a chance to speak and receive feedback from our coaches. You don't need to prepare anything--just be ready to have fun and try!
This event is not a class, lecture, or free-form conversation practice.
This is a structured activity requiring participation from the attendees in front of other attendees. (If you would prefer to listen only, please message us before the meeting, and we will add an extra place for you in the "audience.")
Play our fun ESL game called "Rewordy" together with our coaches and other English learners.
In this game, you will improve unclear, awkward, or wordy speech. You will learn to swap, prop, and chop. You will SPEAK a lot, but you will also listen, read, and write!
Please invite a friend!
Each member-participant is allowed one guest-participant as space allows. Guest-participants may attend as guests a maximum of 2 times then must join (free) to continue.
