What we're about

Lit is lit will be inactive until October 2020.

“The reading of all good books is like conversation with the finest (people) of the past centuries.” – Descartes

Quality fiction, philosophy, history, other genres.

Excellent resource --> Link to a free, extensive online library. Download mobi, epub, pdf. (https://b-ok.xyz/)

Two rules:

• No self-help books.

• Books < 400 pages.

"What book?"

The idea is this- Anyone in the group can nominate a book. No one can vote for their own book. There's no way to actually enforce this, but cheating is lame. More details on governance can by scrolling through discussions.

Most votes = book of the month.

This will be done via online survey after max. titles have been submitted.

You should join if you like reading good books.

Join if you're interested in reading but can't decide what to read or you already read but you want to read more.

This group will decide for you and positive peer pressure will motivate you to spend more time with a book.

Authors I love: Nassim Taleb and John Le Carre.
