The Book: Steven Johnson's The Ghost Map, is a compelling story about a real-life hero, Dr. John Snow. As the latest cholera outbreak takes hold, Dr. Snow and a local minister take the initiative to investigate and solve the most pressing medical riddle of their time.
We will either meet somewhere on the first floor or in the loft of the restaurant. I will identify myself to the wait staff and I have been over to advise them of our meeting.
We will take a few minutes at the beginning of the meeting to introduce ourselves. We may order drinks or food anytime at this restaurant. Then, we will begin the discussion of the book. I will offer some discussion questions and other Thinkers are most welcome to add theirs. We can conclude by entertaining ideas for the next meeting's venue and comment on books we have read that we think might be interesting.
