2012 Meet-Ups

From: Lydia

Hi guys!

After a great discussion of The Prince and the Pauper, we chose some great reads for the first half of 2012.

We will begin January with a slightly longer novel, since we have a month to read it.  After that, we tried to vary the length, genre, and time period of the readings.

The schedule is all posted now on Meet-Up, so feel free to go on now and rsvp. This will give you plenty of time to plan and to read.

Although subject to change later, here is the tentative schedule:

1/7-Bleak House

1/21-Rip Van Winkle

2/4-Othello

2/18-Odes of John Keats

3/3-Pamela by Samuel Richardson

3/17-Canterbury Tales

3/31-One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich

4/14-Ovid's Metamorphoses

4/28-Ethan Frome

5/12-Don Quixote (1)

5/26-Don Quixote (2)

6/9-Don Quixote (3)

And, yes, we are determined to continue until we read all of the great literature!  Please join!!
