It is the story of a blind French girl and a German boy whose paths cross during World War II. Marie-Laure flees Paris when she is twelve. Werner's precocious understanding of radio technology earns him a place in a Hitler Youth academy. They ultimately meet in the port city of Saint Malo.
The Navajo County libraries have nine copies of the book and one audio book version. It should not be hard to find.
