About Us
The Little Rock Go Club is dedicated to the play and study of go. Curious, Beginner or Pro, we welcome everyone with an interest and passion for Go.
What is GO ?
Go is one of the oldest games in the world, it has been played for at least three thousand years. Go was invented in China, though the who and when is a matter of considerable debate and the inspiration of myth and legend. While it's called Go internationally, it's also called 圍棋 wéiqí in Chinese, 바둑 baduk in Korean, 囲碁 igo in Japanese.

How do I play GO?
Go is simple to learn and can be studied for a lifetime. Three simple rules, infinite possibilities. Children as young as five can learn to play go, yet it's depth allows you to study it for a life time and still not know all it's secrets.

When do we meet ?
Our regular meeting is held on Thursdays from 7pm to 10pm, unless otherwise posted.
If you would like to meet at any other time or day, contact us and we will work with you on a date and time that fits your schedule.

KGS is the largest go server in the world, with thousands of players at every level of play. There are even teaching rooms where you can learn to play and improve your skill. Sign up for free and play for a life time. You can find KGS here (http://www.gokgs.com/).
